Over 200 individual pieces of engraved and stamped Sterling silver. 7 classic 14-karat gold horse-heads. Matching breast collar, bridle & reins. Includes the silver Fleming bit originally sold with the saddle. Item #PSA400 $15,000.
William "Bill" Haass - His Personal Parade Saddle. Built by William A. Haass, silversmith to Edward H. Bohlin, Porter, Visalia and Keyston Brothers. Mr. Haass was born in 1922 and was 83 years old when he passed away in 2005. The base is a Porter saddle, overlaid with engraved leather and silver by Bill Haass. Item #PSA509 $7,500.
Garcia Saddlery, Extremely Rare Acorn Pattern with Sterling Silver Conchos and Stirrup Plates. Pristine Lightly Ridden Saddle with Unused Saddlebags. Made in 1949 at the Garcia Saddlery in Salinas, Calif. The saddlery was owned by G. S. Garcia's son, Henry Garcia, at the time this saddle was made. Acquired from the wife of the original owner through an estate sale. Item #PSA444 $8,000.
Western Star "Gabby" Hayes' Personal and Movie Saddle Made by Walter Newell Includes Danny's Hideaway Memorabilia and notarized provenance and documentation Gabby Hayes made a gift of this saddle to his personal friend Danny Stradella (war hero and famous restaurateur to the stars: Dante Charles Stradella). It was displayed for years at Danny's Hideaway, the famous steak house in New York City that was a regular haunt of Gabby Hayes and other movie stars and public personalities. Item #SA404 $6,500.
