About The Legendary G. S. Garcia #110 Snake Bit:

This bit is an extremely rare and beautiful piece of bit and spur history.  The legendary #110 G. S. Garcia snake bit, made between 1915 and 1925.

The bit measures 7" wide by 8 & 1/2" long.  The beautiful raised silver conchos are 2 & 1/4" in diameter.  The buttons on the bar are 1/2" in diameter. 

The narrow (1/4") rolling mouth piece is striated in a diagonal pattern within a slide that measures 2" long by 3/4" wide.

The bit is hand-forged and hand engraved, inlaid with silver.  The maker's mark is authentic and period correct.  The mark is present on the inside right cheek and reads: G. S. GARCIA / ELKO NEV.   An amazing addition to any collection of Western silver, iconic Americana or as an eclectic tie to the great history of the American West and the Cowboy / Vaquero tradition.

This bit design was made as a spur by G. S. Garcia - one of his most well-known and desirable spur patterns ever.  We are offering one pair of the #16 Snake Spurs for sale at this time.  They can be purchased with this bit at a discount, or separately.
