About This Book:

One of a series of Authorized Edition Gene Autry Storybooks written by Bob Hamilton and beautifully illustrated throughout by Erwin L. Hess.  Published in 1946 by the Whitman Publishing Company, Racine, Wisconsin.  Signed by Gene Autry.  The book is in Very Good condition - The dust jacket is missing.  The text is sharp and the pages show some age spotting, but are mostly clean and free of edge wear.  The binding is tight.  The page edges are colored red.  The front and back inner covers are illustrated with action scenes.  The cover was overlaid with a leather-looking material which has chipped off in a few places, showing the board underneath.  Other than the writing on the page shown above, there are no other markings in the book. The book measures 5 & 1/4" by 8" with 250 pages of Gene Autry standing up to the bad guys and making sure they get what they deserve!
