Item #HHB235 / $3,400.
This bridle has been attributed to Yuma Prison and was made circa 1910. The bridle measures 22" long. The reins, also horsehair, measure just over 70" long, including the chain. The bridle was made with interesting early bright red rosettes and 2 headstall conchos engraved with a 4 leaf clover picture. The reins are decorated with a very unusual knotted cord detail at the top and end as well as at the tassels. The brow-band is adorned with numerous delicate tassels on narrow braided lengths of horsehair. A beautiful specimen. Lucky Clover Horsehair Bridle / Item #HHB235 / $3,400.
