THE BACK BEDROOM

DESCRIPTION AND PHOTOGRAPHS

The back bedroom is placed at the end of the house furthest from the front entrance.  It is separated from the master bedroom by the second bathroom and the office.  The back bedroom has it's own entrance to the veranda as well as an interior door that opens into the office.  The laundry room is accessible through this room as well.  As in the master bedroom, there is a large window looking out onto the lush forest that belongs to Casa Andesita and louvered windows set into the high walls near the ceiling.  The forest and the placement of the bedroom acts as a very effective privacy shield.  There are rows of built-in shelving and and additional windows on either side of the exterior door looking out onto the deck and mountain views.  This part of the house has hand-laid hardwood flooring and walls.

The door shown here opens to the laundry room.  High windows let in abundant ambient light.

There is a large window to the right.  The view is from the deck.

This view of the back bedroom shows the door that opens onto the deck which is surrounded by windows. 

The door to the right of the windows is the interior door, it is open at this time.

This view shows the lush forest to be seen outside of the large window in the back bedroom. 

The back bedroom is located at the absolute back of the house.
