T.W. & J. Walker, Wolverhampton Knife and Sheath

T.W. & J. WALKER were cutlery and flatware wholesalers in Wolverhampton, Britain from the mid to late 1800's.  Their firm was one of the famed exporters on Victoria Street.

It is a beautiful antique piece whose character is only enhanced by the various cracks and dings that are present on the bone handle.  The blade is without fault and the entire ensemble, with the original leather sheath, is very impressive.

The handle is attached with three brass and german silver rivets.  The blade is formed with a cannelure on both sides that measures 6 inches long.

The piece has been in our collection for at least 15 years, when it was purchased from another collector who dated it as mid to late 1800's.
